The author seeks to provide readers whose cultural & religious formation has been Jewish or Christian with a way of approaching the body of belief & practice called Islam. The methodology is to approach from the perspective of a student of Islam. The book is not intended as a critical work. The Quran is a sacred book with profound, and familiar, Old and New Testament resonances.
